About Us
On Point Sewing Studio was established in 2015 to provide a comprehensive sewing service to the people of Ripponden and surrounding areas including Sowerby Bridge, West Vale, Greetland, Elland, Stainland, Barkisland, Kebroyd, Rishworth and Triangle. We are proud our reputation is such that the majority of our new customers come from personal recommendation.
From your initial, free consultation to delivery, our aim is to exceed your expectations, providing exceptional quality finishes at competitive prices. Projects range from small (perhaps a couple of cushions or a bed throw) to large (whole coordinated rooms).
QUALITY
High quality is paramount in everything we do – advice is based on best practice, many items are hand sewn and linings are carefully sourced.
AFFORDABILITY
Our costs are kept to a minimum as we work from home. We can also maximise your budget by suggesting online fabric retailers or local suppliers. Costs are clearly stated from the outset.
FLEXIBILITY
We will advise on all options to achieve your aims. Sometimes projects can be completed in several ways or several stages. It may also be possible to reuse existing fabrics.
STOCK ITEMS
Although you supply your own fabrics and poles/tracks, we will supply the following to complete your project:
- Linings (cotton, blackout, thermal blackout – bonded interlining)
- Curtain tapes, piping, curtain hooks, Velcro, blind tapes and other sundries
- Any other items, e.g. foam, blind kits and zips will be sourced and ordered by us. You will be invoiced for these items as required
RETAIL AND CHARITY WORK
A small range of kitchen items including aprons and hand sewn cards are available from a local tea room, or directly from us. Various bee-themed items are also available for sale. These are made on behalf of the Manchester Survivors’ Choir. All funds are given to the Peace Foundation which helps victims of terrorism and intolerance.
